Information in English
The Society of St. Francis is a world-wide Franciscan community within the Anglican Communion. It is a society of men who live under vows of poverty, chastity
and obedience. In addition to the work of prayer, most of the brothers are engaged in work outside the friary.
We have brothers
working in Mt. Sinai, Long
Island, NY, San
Francisco and Berkeley,
California
(USA) and São Paulo (Brazil).
On May 15, 2006, the brazilian franciscans brothers made their
First Profession in the Society of St. Francis. Their vows were received by
Br. Jude
Hill, Minister Provincial of the Province of the Americas. Inspired by the
Franciscan charism
they minister in several areas in church and society.
São Paulo Friary is home to brothers
James and Elton Philip. Currently Brother Ivanildo is living in San Francisco, CA.
